KCVI will be hosting the KASSAA Alpine Ski Championships on February 9, 2012. The event will take place at Calabogie Ski Resort. As in previous years the busses and registrations for the KASSAA event will be coordinated through the conveners David Stocks 544-4811 x155 and Dan Fruhling 544-4811 or by email at stocksd@limestone.on.ca or fruhlingd@limestone.on.ca. Please contact us if you are interested in participating.
KCVI will also be holding training dates which you are welcome to attend. This way the expense of gate setup and travel can be minimized. Space is limited so contact us early. Please join us at Calabogie with some or all of your team on the following days:
- January 12, 2012 is a training day.
- February 2, 2012 is the KCVI Meet everyone welcome (two sets of gates, electronic timing).
- February 9, 2012 is KASSAA (two races, Slalom and Giant Slalom, electronic timing) teams of 5 racers are officially entered but individuals can also be entered.
- February 16, 2012 is EOSSAA (two races, Slalom and Giant Slalom, electronic timing) teams and individuals must qualify for EOSSAA from KASSAA.
